Since 1981, Cerro Novo have been selling, renting and managing properties across Albufeira and the central Algarve.
Over the past few years, with the growth of the private rental property market there’s been an increase in unlicensed and uninsured property agents adverting via social media and the local free press.

Our Property Management Services
Key holding service
We’ll safely hold onto your keys whilst you’re away and let in authorised service personnel.
Mail service
We’ll collect, open, action or forward your mail.
Home Inspections
We’ll regularly check your home, especially throughout inclement weather. We can also ‘air’ your property for a small additional fee.
Alarm
We’ll hold onto your alarm key code in case of false alarms or as a first point of contact.
Bill payment
We’ll pay your bills whilst you’re away
IMI
We’ll ensure your IMI account is paid and up to date, avoiding fines.
Accounts
We offer a full accounting and fiscal representation service.
Vehicle Service
We’ll arrange for insurance, tax and inspections for your vehicle.
Media services
We’ll supervise the installation of phone, broadband and TV services.
Utility installation
We’ll help with and supervise the installation of Utility services at your property and assist with any ongoing dialogue with providers.
Meet and Greet
We’ll welcome your friends, family or clients professionally and with a smile.
Advertising
We’ll arrange for additional / digital advertising to promote your rental property.
Emergency contact
We’re here in case of emergency, whether you’re home or away.

We try to get to Portugal as frequently as we can, however it’s good to know that our postbox is being checked regularly and bills paid. It’s also heartening to know that Cerro Novo have the keys to our apartment to check everything is perfect ahead of our arrival – it’s nice no have no nasty surprises!
